Mission Statement
Philosophy
I have always believed that art should use its power to make a difference in this world. As a fine artist I have used whatever medium I am working in to say something about the world and it's various states of affair as opposed to just conveying a feeling or an emotion. It became clear to me over time that Graphic Design had the power to do this on a strong and tangible scale. I further believe that everyone has the right to a voice and that voice should be conveyed through beautiful type, striking images and meaningful, appealing forms.

Education
I have an Associates degree from Parsons School of Design where I learned current design theory and technical construction. Prior to Parsons, I attended the Art Institute of Chicago where I studied drawing, sculpture, performance art and video (I do paint, but did not formally study). I have freelanced throughout my educational career and have learned how to "know" my clients, to understand their needs, and to help them stand out and to make their voices heard. Some of my commission work was published in YRB Magazine's annual Art Edition (#35, November 2003). In addition, I founded, co-produced and performed with The Third Lip Cabaret, an award winning, critically acclaimed performance art and modern music showcase and am still performing in
New York City.
